Meet Our Founder: Dr. Charles Furaha
PSBC is led by Col. (Rtd) Dr. Charles Furaha, Rwanda’s first plastic surgeon. Trained at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, he returned home to pioneer the field of plastic surgery in Rwanda.
Today, he serves as Head of the Plastic Surgery Unit at Rwanda Military Referral and Teaching Hospital, leading care and training for the next generation of surgeons. He has previously worked at King Faisal Hospital and served as Head of the Surgical Department at RMH, and he continues to advance surgical excellence in Rwanda while providing exceptional care at PSBC.
