Meet Our Founder: Dr. Charles Furaha
PSBC is led by Col. (Rtd) Dr. Charles Furaha, Rwanda’s first plastic surgeon. After earning his medical degree and completing his plastic surgery residency at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, Dr. Furaha returned home to pioneer the field of plastic surgery in Rwanda.
Throughout his career in Rwanda, he has worked at King Faisal Hospital and Rwanda Military Hospital (RMH), treating patients and training the next generation of plastic surgeons. He previously served as Head of the Surgical Department at RMH and continues to shape the future of surgery in Rwanda, while also providing exceptional care at PSBC.
